GORGEOUS DETAILED DRESSER/ENTRY CONSOLE

This piece has such gorgeous detailing!  Turquoise is a great spring color and who isn't ready for spring right now?  I used black glazing to bring out all the the raised details all over this piece.  I then used metallic silver to bring them out even more.  It just has such a stand out presence now.  The original handles had great detailing as well so I painted them black and dry brushed the silver over them to bring out their details. 

I love a piece with great legs and feet and this piece surely has some great legs!!

Wouldn't this make a great entry statement in your front entry??!!

With all of the great drawers it would also make a great dresser!

 I love this color. In some light it looks light green, in other light it looks blue green. I've added a stencil to the center door as well as to the drawers behind the doors which were sanded to natural wood. Each drawer works great and is solid wood. I added new crystal knobs to the small drawers and used the original pulls on the bottom drawers.

This would make a nice entry piece, buffet, sofa table or just as a dresser.

 Boho Chic Vintage Console

 

Vintage console, finished in a faded denim look with a little funk. Metallic silvers outlines the details with a little turquoise and hot pink added to the unique door details. The top was finished in a weathered distressed finish to contrast with the dark body. The doors have cool lucite and silver pulls with new silver feet added for more height. Behind those doors is a shelf that runs the length of the console. A single drawer is also inside, great for holding and corralling remotes etc.

This is such a versatile piece.
